Privacy

PURPOSE AND METHOD OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The personal data provided by the interested party ("Data") will be processed for the following purposes:

a) allow companies and the economic fabric of the territory under the jurisdiction of the Bari Chamber of Commerce to benefit from the "Virtual X" initiative, including their involvement in the activities preceding and following the event (eg organizational secretariat, sending material relating to the event, etc.);

b) send exclusively institutional communications, including subsequent ones, and always regarding services, projects and activities of the Bari Chamber of Commerce or the public chamber system, whether regional or Italian, without prejudice to the rights of cancellation and revision of data by those who request it;

c) analyze in statistical and individual form the response of the economic fabric involved in the activity of Virtual X, in order to identify needs, responses, interactions ("Profiling"), exclusively for the purpose of improving activities, projects and institutional services provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Bari;

d) allow the suppliers of the Bari Chamber of Commerce, solely and exclusively within the scope of Virtual X activities, to access the data of the people registered for the event for the sole purpose of fulfilling the organizational needs of the same (management of the registration to the event, organizational secretariat, communication, etc.). In any case, the suppliers will NEVER send commercial and / or promotional communications on products and services of the aforementioned companies, nor carry out market research or "third party marketing" actions. Suppliers, as legal entities, will respond to this commitment before, during and after the event.

The processing of data for each of the aforementioned purposes may take place using paper, automated or electronic methods and, in particular, by ordinary mail or email, telephone (eg automated calls, SMS, MMS), fax and any other computer channel. (e.g. websites, mobile apps).

 

CONSEQUENCES OF ANY FAILURE TO PROVIDE DATA

The provision of data is optional. However, failure to provide the Data marked as mandatory will make it impossible to provide the Service. Failure to provide the remaining data not marked as mandatory will still allow the provision of the Service.

THE REGULATORY FRAMEWORK AND THE RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

Pursuant to and for the purposes of the provisions of art. 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council concerning the protection of persons (hereinafter GDPR), by registering with "Virtual X", the interested party accepts the terms and conditions for the processing of their personal data, as well as the free circulation of such data.

The Chamber of Commerce constantly updates its privacy policy to adapt it to national and EU legislative changes. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. Pursuant to art. 13, paragraph 2, letters (b) and (d) and 14, paragraph 2, letters (d) and (e), as well as art. 15, 16, 17, 18, and 21 of the GDPR, the subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to: a) ask the Data Controller for access to personal data, rectification, integration, the cancellation of the same (where compatible with the conservation obligations), the limitation of the processing of data concerning him or to oppose the processing of the same if the conditions provided for by the GDPR are met; b) exercise the rights referred to in letter a) through the certified e-mail box cciaa.bari@ba.legalmail.camcom.it with suitable communication;

d) propose a complaint to the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, pursuant to art. 77 of the GDPR, following the procedures and indications published on the official website of the Authority: www.garanteprivacy.it.

The obligation of the Chamber of Commerce to communicate the data to the Judicial Authority remains unaffected, whenever a specific request is made in this regard. The processing of personal data and their storage are carried out - in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and subsequent amendments and additions, as well as the national legislation - also with the aid of IT tools, and are carried out by the staff of the Chamber of Commerce and / or by third parties, designated external data processors, who have service relationships with it.

For the latter, the retention of data is inherent exclusively to this initiative, while the Chamber of Commerce is authorized by the participants, upon registration to Virtual X, to inform members also of subsequent institutional initiatives, without prejudice to the right of cancellation. This is without prejudice to the additional document retention obligations required by law.
